I was asked to give a lecture on ethnographic fieldwork methodology at a local university a few weeks ago. During the lecture, I talked about various interview projects that I had been involved with, and many of the issues that one needs to be aware of when collecting sensitive data from informants. It is a pity that I hadn't known about the student film below at that time. Interviews on a theme that is not particularly sensitive, but in situations that can still be difficult. It might have been useful to show at least part of it after the lecture was finished.
